Gold recovery carbon is a specialized grade of activated carbon made for Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) and Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) gold extraction. Made from high-density coconut shell carbon, it adsorbs gold-cyanide complexes from the slurry and is then stripped and regenerated for reuse.
High density and hardness keep attrition and fines low in agitated tanks, which reduces gold losses and carbon consumption.
